Nairobi; Decisive action by Annan sends Kenya into a flurry of activity

The decision has been made, Kenyan politicians thought they could apply their usual escape tactics and why not? They always seemed to work! Well, not this time. They were beaten to the race by Chief mediator Kofi Annan.
Kofi Annan abruptly handed over the secret list to the International Criminal Court. The list covered the Perpetrators of 2007 general election violence that affected so many Kenyans, covered in the waki report.
Kofi Annan's move reinforces KTI’s efforts as it has in the past given out grants in support of the implementation of the Waki report.
This move could be viewed as a step foward towards ending the culture of impunity.
